There are lots of crap (yes crap) websites in the internet that are getting tones of traffic. I just envy on them and envy more when I come to know its free traffic.
Guys like us that has some knowledge and website design and development are all sitting and thinking only about how better we can create a website. We hardly are satisfied with the website’s design and we keep changing the theme, color, layout very often. We strive for perfection and we think that people visit only those sites that are perfectly done. This is one bad practice that every website needs to know when to come out of it.
No ones 100% perfect. Even Google.com is not 100% perfect. compare their site when launched initially and how its now.
- Only concentrate on the main functionalities of your website. Do not sit on the breadcrumbs and design items much.
- Launch your website immediately, else it may get rotten along with your plan for it.
- 70% completion is enough for a website to be rolled out successfully.
- Once you launched your website, your first and foremost thing should be working on increasing its popularity and gaining visitors.
- You may complete the remaining 30% on a later point of time. Who knows your site visitors may be satisfied with that 70% itself. Doesnt it save your development time?
- Any upgrade or improvement that you make to that initial 70% will be highly appreciated and received by your visitors and now you are serving your visitors loyally.
- The first and foremost aim for this post it to stop procrastinating from your website launch
Many webmasters, including me, are idle and want to launch their website only when its 100% completed and they think only then it will be received. This is not true and we need to accept and acknowledge the reality.
So, launch your website today, after you wrap up its main functionalities.
